Mental Health Care for Afghan Refugees

AMPAA is excited to announce that we have received a grant to serve newly arrived Afghan refugees in the states of California, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Texas with all their mental health needs. AMPAA has developed a novel Telehealth model utilizing Dari/Pashto/Uzbek speakers with medical backgrounds serving as case aides who will support the refugee patient each step of the way. This grant was awarded to us by USCRI. The program will launch January 2023. We look forward to you referring any Afghan refugee who reside in the above mentioned states. If you are a medical professional who want to participate in delivering care through this program, please look at Telemedicine Opportunities for more information.
