Assistance with USMLE and board examination
AMPAA provides opportunities for mentorship for newly arrived Afghan medical graduates in preparing for the United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) examination and residency applications.
United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE):
This three-step examination for medical licensure is required for all practicing physicians practicing in the United States. USMLE assesses a physician’s ability to apply knowledge, concepts, and principles, and to demonstrate fundamental patient-centered skills that are important in health and disease and that constitute the basis of safe and effective patient care.
