Our Achievements
Health and Medical Education
AMPAA believes that improving the state of medical and postgraduate medical education is the best way to help in Afghanistan's healthcare system reconstruction.  We have worked throughout the years to build a strong partnership with Afghanistan's Ministry of Health and hope to continue to assist in building of curriculums, medical professional organizations, residency training, and training of allied health staff.
In addition, AMPAA has provided opportunities for mentorship for newly arrived Afghan medical graduates in preparing for the USMLE examination and residency applications.

Charitable Work
Within Afghanistan
With the help of various other non profit organizations, AMPAA has been able to deliver multiple shipments of medical supplies, equipments, and pharmaceuticals over the years.
Within US
AMPAA biannual Healthfair was started in 2009.  This service provides our uninsured population with access to screenings, preventative medicine, and flu shots.  We will be holding our third healthfair this coming May 21, 2011 in Northern Virginia.
